Forest Garden Shovelstrode teaches people traditional woodland crafts and focuses on ways of living more self sufficiently.
A range of off-site and on-site activities can be organised for groups of between 5-40 people looking at creating a more practical or hands-on team building event. This rustic styled setting offers a more ‘back to basics’ flavour by working together in the natural environment. A number of courses can be run concurrently allowing groups of various sizes to do a morning on one activity and an afternoon on another.

Orienteering . 1/2 day. 5-25 people (Ashdown Forest – 5.8 miles)
Led by World Expedition Leader Mark Milligan this activity takes place on Ashdown Forest.
It is an area of special scientific interest and an area of outstanding natural beauty, providing a unique habitat for a wide range of rare plants (including orchids), birds and wildlife. Ashdown Forest has had a fascinating and varied history from the early production of iron to its use as King Henry VIII's royal hunting ground.
Bike Trekking . 1/2 day. 5-25 people (Deers Leap, E.Grinstead – 5.5 miles)
Sailing Class. 1/2 day. 2-25 people (Weir Wood, East Grinstead – 4.8 miles)
