Gigis bread for beginners. How to, when to, what to look for with yeast
Freshly made bread is still one of everyone's favourite smells, creating a nostalgic feeling of home wherever you might be. Dough goes into the oven and comes out totally transformed, wanting to be eaten.
This course will give you some basic knowledge to allow you to make your own bread with confidence.
The course starts at 1000 and ends at 2.00pm
Bread making has been a thread throughout Helen's life - from some of my her early memories as a small child, to regularly baking loaves by herself as a 16 year old. Growing up in Australia, exotic European breads from the market were a real treat for her family. She started Gigi’s Bread four years ago, baking bread to sell and teaching classes in her home in Hove. In the classes Helen teaches how to bake seasonal, healthy yeasted breads and the art of sourdough bread baking.
